About the Project

The estate wishes to make a sustainable transition in order to increase biodiversity, fight against climate change, diversify production and improve the quality of the wines. The presence of hedges helps to limit strong winds and the drying out of the vines, a major constraint in the geographical area.

The project
The vineyard wishes to plant hedges within the plots and along the edges  and to create a forest garden with rows of trees associated with market gardening. This diversification will make it possible to make use of land that is not very suitable for vines, to bring biodiversity, and to be an actor in experiments and demonstrations for the sharing of knowledge on the transition.
